The Teacher Christ was a vegetarian. He treated all God’s creatures with love and care. He revered in them the Creation of God-Father. And to perpetrate mass slaughtering of animals in honor of His birth is a blasphemy against the Teacher and His Teaching. Christmas is not slaughter. Are those who do this Christians?
The Teacher can not communicate with the people of the Earth because of numerous delusions and errors in all spheres. Holidays in His honor cause Him ineffable sufferings for mankind, because millions and millions of victims get bound up with His name, with Him who had never infringed the commandment «Thou shalt not kill». From the point of view of ethics it is a blasphemy. From the point of view of religion it is a violation of one of the main commandments. From the point of view of an alive human thought of a conscious being it is a ruthless and rough act. A human being is the highest creation of God. He can not behave in such a way. A human being – a crown of the Creation – kills those, who see a «GOD» in him, who were entrusted to him as «a younger brother» for upbringing, who look at him with trust and endearment. Giving animals human names, living with them, feeling their sincere affection, and looking straight into their eyes, consider whether they wish such murders, whether you have the right to deprive them of the sun’s light and take their lives... They go their own way, no less difficult but the evolutionary way of development; and taking their lives, mankind bundle everyone up as a single whole organism with one karmic loop. Killing innocent creatures, we stop our development because we show our imperfection, our inability to think deep and be merciful and compassionate. An abundance of fruit and grain is given to us, and a wide range of really magnificent dishes can be prepared in honor of the feast. And the feast without blood, without violence, without death-agonies is the best affirmation of the inner belief in the Teacher, belief in God, our Creator. The feast does not presuppose gluttony; the feast is a feeling of sacrament in a soul. It is purification of a soul at that very moment when a soul starts to think on the other level. The feeling of harmony arises from the feeling of the feast in a soul but not from a life filled with drunken banquets and bloody revelries.
It is high time we searched and
found grains of truth in everything. It is about time we stopped to treat
the Christian teaching formally. Christianity and the eating of flesh are
incompatible! The Christian holidays can not serve as a cover for mass
slaughter of animals and the commercial side of the business. |

Get aware of what is going on! Consider the kernel of the problem. Consider, for we are thinking beings, after all! We do not live to please those who wish to be enriched at our expense, we are free individuals and we can and should call all our awareness to the responsibility for every deed, for every thought. Committing no murders, but purchasing the killed you bear the same, equal responsibility because you are a customer for whose sake the murders are committed. Christmas and New Year's holidays may become the most gentle and the purest. According to the evangelical legends, the Christ was born in a shed. And our children look at these touching scenes and see the newborn being in a shed near cows and sheep. The Catholic church suggests buying figurines and arranging lovely Nativity scenes with them. A shed, a mother and a child. How beautiful and touching! Especially from the point of view of a pure child's soul. It is so touching to arrange such Nativity scenes and at the same time to eat those touching beings. It is so touching to admire the birth in a shed and encourage slaughtering on farms and in one’s own back yard.
It is high time we looked at
everything deeper. It is high time we raised awareness of everything. It is
high time we broke free from the vicious circle of delusions and errors and
learnt to be Human Beings. |
